SAN FRANCISCO - A crowd of over 500 premium art- and brew-savvy connoisseurs alike were treated to a live creation by renowned artist Kofie One (pronounced “Coffee One”) as Singha TransPortraits hit San Francisco’s premier lifestyle destination, Harlot, on Saturday, February 12th, 2011. The Singha TransPortraits tour brings globally influential visual artists and innovators into popular venues for a night of Singha Beer, DJs, socializing and live art.
“Kofie One really brought it for Singha TransPortraits. The energy created between the artist, the DJ and the crowd was really what a Singha TransPortraits party is all about, ” said Boon Rawd Trading International Co., Ltd. Senior Branding and Event Officer, Theerathip Mahaguna. Singha TransPortraits has also curated pieces by artists Sun7 from Singha TransPortraits, Paris; Retna from Singha TransPortraits, Los Angeles; sense from Singha TransPortraits, Tokyo; and Jeff Soto from Singha TransPortraits, New York.
“The artists involved in Singha TransPortraits are all super talented, the beer is great, and the Singha brand was something I could really sink my teeth into in order to create something special for the crowd at the event. It was a pretty incredible opportunity,” said Augustine Kofie, aka Kofie One.
Singha TransPortraits makes its next stop in Miami on February 19th with artist Ryan Bubnis. Images of all past and future Singha TransPortraits can be viewed at SinghaTransPortraits.com as well as on Singha's Flickr page, HERE.
